Cobra is a book whose main objective is plot complexity at a time when a lot of books are too focused playing it safe to bring in new readers and I'm all the happier for it. Writer Mike Costa realizes that he's playing with familiar characters and an easily understandable plot motivation so there's no need to pander, he writes a well layered G.I. Joe book for adult readers and leaves the fanboy trappings behind. Read Full Review
