    Normally, the Doctor brings back the sky, but the beautiful vista offers instead contrast, for the Doctor is angry. He chastises Magambo. The Advocate reaps a victory. As the clouds and sky darkens, The Doctor renews his faith in Martha Jones, and Emily Winter returns to the Doctor's side. What a brilliant visual twist. Read Full Review

    Straightand to the point this book is about the Doctor saving Christmas. The styling of the art is very Saturdaymorning cartoon-ish, but it works for this one shot. I like this book because there is no dialogand it flows from frame to frame, making for a fun quick read that's enjoyable for theholidays. Read Full Review

    Its a pattern that I know ends up being changed at least somewhat with the Eleventh Doctor and Amelia, but Id really want to see a Second Doctor/Jamie relationship or perhaps another Fifth Doctor/Tegan/Adric/Nyssa dynamic where theres more than just two players in action. Still, its a minor concern, and really isnt a complaint about this treatment of the character as it is the state of the BBC show itself. Doctor Who #12 is about to lead into the last Tenth Doctor story, but this has been a fun, fast-paced arc of quintessential Doctor, and earns 4 out of 5 stars overall. Read Full Review
