  Overall, amidst some disappointments with the antagonist monsters, the 16th installment of Rulers of Earth is a fun comic. The battle is a mega highlight, which is mainly thanks to the fun tag team of Godzilla and Anguirus.   Godzilla: RoE and Cataclysm have both been great reads with hit-or-miss installments. The great signs coming from IDW point to a constancy with continuity and a vision to take some bold steps. Little by little the IDW Godzilla comics have come together to add depth to the mythos of the title character. Although this issue does not compare well to others in this series, it is considerably better than the previous incarnations of Godzilla in the IDW-verse. Read Full Review

  My apologies to Chris Mowry, but he is a MUCH better writer than this. Even with the issues of this series I haven't enjoyed, it was still clear that Mowry is a talented and capable scripter. This one, however, fell well below his usual high quality of work. Add in the ever compounding mythology/story issues and you might as well just skip the dialogue all together and enjoy the combined artistic efforts by Matt Frank and Jeff Zornow.Let's hope that next month's issue has Mowry back on his game again" and maybe another instance of GODZILLA SWINGING ANGUIRUS BY HIS TAIL!
