The best way to describe this issue was fun—flawed, but fun. I like that the four emblems of power representing the actual four members of the band have become a power source that will be transferred to others in different times and places. Is KISS #2 fantastic? No. But while I imagine the band's fans will enjoy it, others might be turned off at the idea of buying a comic about a washed-up rock band. Don't let those kind of preconceived notions be the thing that prevents you from picking this up. (However, feel free to let otherthings keep you from picking it up. That's yourprerogative.)
