This is where all of Geoff and Vivian's training finally pays off as they battle the zombified hordes of Gristlewood in order to save their father and foil Merle Cope's plans to destroy the Allan family.
Normally, this would be the end. Steve Niles history is one of completing a story arc and then retiring a series until he's ready to revisit it again. Consider his work on Criminal Macabre for example. Niles has never felt the obligation to fill empty pages; when he has no story to tell he prefers to remain silent. This is a different situation. This was a pleasant surprise. This book was off of my radar and I was unsure what I was getting into when I open the comic. By the last page I was eager to see where the story went next and looked forward to my next encounter with the Allan clan. Solid stuff. Read Full Review
