Comic Vine - Gregg Katzman Mar 26, 2014

This fourth chapter is a ridiculously entertaining read. Jordan pretty much creates a script that compliments Scalera's style and the end result is a completely gripping spectacle. The plot is still inching along (to be fair, there's a solid narrative-driven scene worked in here), but I can hardly complain because this is without question one of the best chase sequences you'll ever read in a comic. Jordan makes sure it's wicked and Scalera masterfully brings it all to life. It's savage, overflowing with intensity and is a seriously exciting experience. Read Full Review

The MacGuffin - Matt LeMaire Mar 24, 2014

DEAD BODY ROAD #4 is a bloody–and very fast–good time, with the sense of speed really coming through in the art. Jordan–and especially Scalera–should be applauded for being able to accomplish such a frantic car chase so well in this visual medium. It never lets up and leaves us craving more by the end. Even as we get more answers as to what's going on, we can't help but crave more and the visceral thrills provided by Dead Body Road ensures that we'll be anxiously awaiting the next installment. We The Nerdy - Jean-Luc Botbyl Mar 26, 2014

Really, Dead Body Road ends up being a hard book to review. On the one hand, it's a really great, all out, shameless action book that's insanely fun to read. On the other, it's kind of lacking in terms of plot and character development, which should not be the case four issues in. But, the choice is yours. If you want to spend the $2.99 for a kind of hollow but at the same time really awesome action book, then by all means, go ahead. More power to you. But for the rest of you, maybe trade waiting this would be a better idea, because it feels like a story that would read better in one sitting, rather than scattered across six or seven months. Either way, it isn't all that hard to find some form of entertainment in Dead Body Road. Read Full Review
