Life's no picnic. Still, Ella and Lou find some quiet time for romance. Too bad death proves to be a frequent third wheel. Don't miss the issue that changes the game for our star crossed lovers forever.

Multiversity Comics - Michelle White Jul 26, 2012

If you aren't reading Grim Leaper already then it may seem a little silly to jump on this late, but in the case of this issue, the backup story alone is cause enough to pick it up. Written by Multiversity's own Jeremy Holt and illustrated by Chris Peterson, this technological romance gives us a look at Siri's kinkier side. I won't say any more than that (it's only five pages after all and I don't want to give away the whole thing!), but both the writing and the art are sharp and unnerving. All in all it's pretty messed up, making it the perfect complement to yet another helping of Wiebe and Santos' gory love story. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal Jul 26, 2012

I honestly didn't know that this was a mini-series. It doesn't change the scores or change my opinion on the first and second issues, but it did lock me in for the fourth and final issue. I find that Wiebe's pacing for storytelling is very different and several of his series that put me off at first end up sucking me in towards the end. Originally I wasn't going to bother with this issue, but ended up giving it a shot and I'm glad I did. If you were going to pass on it this week I'd recommend you give it one more shot, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Read Full Review

Given how weird Grim Leaper normally is, issue #3 stands out for itssheer normalcy. Either in spite of that, or because of it, this was the best issue yet, and I'm looking forward to the final issue next month. Read Full Review
