Although I have my quarrels with the story, I can't help but notice that it's still a enjoyable read. We're still early in the series, so I'm sure Jay Faeber has some aces up his sleeve. I’m enjoying this book, but I’m starting to get a growing amount of questions that need to be answered. Granted the series isn’t very long, but good mysteries don’t just dump all the information at the very end of the story when broken up like this. I’ll definitely be back for the next issue, but I hope that it’s coming with a few answers and some good character development. Read Full Review
Overall “Point of Impact” is a fun little read that is sure to entertain with its slightly soapy mix of police procedural and melodrama. There are deeper comics on the shelves today, but with its sharp artwork and strong pacing, it's definitely worth a look. Read Full Review
Faerber's choice to make the last page silent gives the closing action a great, slowed-down suspense and pace. Despite its uneven plotting and characterization, "Point of Impact" #2 did leave me still curious about the possible conspiracy behind Nicole's death, and how each character fits into the puzzle.
