Nerd Initiative - Lauren The Hoppy Geek
Aug 19, 2026In this penultimate issue, ‘The Lucky Devils’ continues to suck me in with the amazing story, make me ooh and awe over the gorgeous art, and make me laugh. There are definitely parallels to the real world today. While we should all be the change, we also have to laugh at the absurdity of it all. I am of course referring only to the truly heinous act of cancelling a favorite TV show out of nowhere (cough… WONDER MAN… cough) and nothing else. Now we wait for the final issue to wrap up this hell of an awesome story. While, I’m sad to see it end, I can’t wait to see how it does! Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Aug 19, 2026As cluttered as everything seems, there is definitely momentum to this story. And the momentum is carrying each issue through quite well. The ninth issue in a series continues a very appealing run. It would just be a little bit better if it weren't so fucked down in so many ideas that are all struggling to make it to the page. It's a really fun premise, though. And given the right focus in the right editing it could be really brilliant. Read Full Review
