Sara Pezzini only wants to repay Cain Jorgonson by rescuing him, but a mysterious cult stands firmly in her way. The new creative team of TIM SEELEY (HACK/SLASH, BLOODSTRIKE) and DIEGO BERNARD (The Man With No Name) conclude their genre bending first arc on WITCHBLADE as Sara finds herself caught between a Chicago feud much older than she ever suspected! Bernard still manages to find the perfect angles to show off the maximum amount of female posterior. He gets points for keeping this wild issue full of crazy battles mostly focused and clear, but his paneling does falter during the climax. Readers like the Witchblade because of all the cool stuff it can do, and Bernard shows it off creating a shield and turning a motorcycle into an impressive Witchblade-mobile. Despite any misgivings, he works with Seeley's grotesque and inventive script to produce the most fun issue since the character's move to Chicago. Read Full Review
