The Graphic Library - Sara Campbell
Jul 30, 2021In each volume so far, we've been introduced to another magic-sensitive person who is somehow getting mixed up in the business with these Clow Cards. This volume's addition, Mizuki-san, is really intriguing. Unlike Syaoran, we didn't get much of her backstory, other than her relationship with Tōya, but that didn't explain her magical background or how her gift works. With Sakura having no magical training, it's understandable that other, stronger magic users will have to be involved to help her with her mission. Something else I enjoy about this series is the subtle big-brother protectiveness Tōya demonstrates. While little sisters are often annoying to older brothers (spoken as a little sister), Tōya is always looking out for Sakura and trying to keep her safe even if she doesn't notice it.
