When people in the stalled world lose all hope, they transform into grotesque gods known as the Heralds. Tears streaming down her face, Juri looks on helpless as the transformation takes her hold of her brother, while Majima stares empty-eyed at the truth behind her father’s final moments. With mutual animosity and a desire to save their respective families, the two women form an alliance, one that entails a risky plan to summon the Heralds and release the souls within.
