Mar 25, 2022The storytelling on this volume is a little more fractured than in previous volumes. There’s a lot of jumping back-and-forth between school and other places, like Shinichi’s home or the home of a schoolmate, and the transitions are a little rough. There also wasn’t a whole lot to further the plot line until the very end of the volume. Shinichi and Murano going back and forth with their feelings for each other isn’t as exciting and interesting to me, but we’ll see what happens with the fall out in the next volume from what they go through at the end of this volume.
