    Summary: At Gary Cody's request, Alpha Flight flies to Ice Station Redleaf in Antarctica to investgate its missing scientists. Heather falls down a geothermal vent into the Savage Land after being hit by lightning. Now amnesiac, she rescues some misfits from being sacrificed by their tribe & then trains & leads them. They help the misfits' former tribe fight off attackers as Sasquatch & Box arrive to rescue Heather. The misfits are accepted back into their village. Before departing, Heather talks about how the misfits' situation parallels Alpha Flight's own with the Canadian government.
