There's very little to dislike about this miniseries. Granted, in the grand scheme of things, what happens here might not be a big deal to the Marvel Universe as a whole, but sometimes stories are just fun. They don't always have to move mountains. Read Full Review
Amid all the gorgeous visual design, the story itself isn't terribly memorable. Much of this issue is action-oriented. The inevitable scene of Thor, Cap, and Iron Man bonding is short and a bit lacking in payoff. There's also something vaguely unsettling in Brian Michael Bendis' decision to provide Steve Rogers with a new love interest when the man just barely reunited with Sharon Carter. Needless to say, those brief scenes of romance fell flat. But again, the story hardly matters in this case.
