The Hand continues to grow in power as it drives out foreign influence from Japan. But its leader, Kagenobu Yoshioka, soon learns that the stronger his organization has grown, the less control he has over The Hand and its members. Certain sects have hired out their services and skills to the highest bidders, turning against the Japanese people it once sought to protect.
