(Cover Date: December, 1987) Summary: Once a local hero & a Roxxon agent, Stratosfire goes rogue after her friend is killed by Roxxon for not keeping her silence. She destroys a nuclear power plant & defeats Iron Man who tried to stop her. She then attempts to destroy a new aircraft carrier. She is about to kill Iron Man with her microwaves but is driven off by the newly returned Sunturion. Next, she attempts to destroy a space shuttle on a "Star Wars" mission, but IM & Sunturion are there to protect the spacecraft. While IM pleads with her to stop, Sunturion activates Roxxon's Zed Control inside her, causing her to explode. Sunturion loses his power from the explosion. He promises to not reveal IM's identity.
