Mar 20, 2013Overall, the Iron Man 3 Prelude was a pretty fun read that, once again, shows Marvel's ability to expertly deliver tie-ins. The writing and illustrations are both on par for what you would expect from Marvel, and certainly manage to capture the overall tone of the MCU. So, if you're anxiously anticipating the May 3rd Iron Man 3 release and you're itching for any kind of additional story info, I definitely recommend this series to you! Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - James Hunt
Jan 07, 2013The plot works on its most basic level, although it does suffer from the kind of false peril that licensed material is prey to. Will War Machine get killed after the cliffhanger? Well, no, because we've seen him in the trailer for the movie set after this comic. It's a mistake to build the stakes around a character we know to be untouchable -- but ultimately that choice is typical of a book that seems to be giving its readers very little credit.
