This is one of my absolute favorite series out right now. I love the relationship that we see between these two. Colossus’s metal skin feels both literal and metaphorical. The story is delightful and at times heartwarming. The plot twist at the end was a great one. Read Full Review

The dynamic between brother and sister, and this particular relationship hasn't really had a chance to be explored in full depth or detail over the course of the decades since they've been introduced. Alan is doing a marvelous job of not only exploring them and what their lives are like and what their personalities are like, but also telling some really interesting stories from a corner of the Marvel universe that doesn't often get a whole lot of attention. It's very cool stuff that wouldn't have much difficulty at all carrying an open-ended series for many, many years. Read Full Review

Magik & Colossus #3 takes the build-up that the first two issues have created and uses it as fuel for the best of the three yet. Ashely Allen’s dialogue is full of subtext, and Germán Peralta’s artwork is at the top of its game across all 27 pages. Read Full Review

It has been so long since Colossus was written this well. The first 2 issues had him playing second fiddle to Magik, but here he truly shines, with the mob interrogation, his big entrance to save the day, and a brutal finishing move making him more badass than he's been in over a decade on top of good character work. Magik isn't as prominent this time around, but her arena scene continues the badass action scenes she gets.

I'm not sure how I feel about Kaoz joining the team as it might take away from this being a duo book in the final 2 issues, but we'll see how that goes. This was near-perfect.
