Aug 18, 2006Together, a slightly more complex plot and an inspired take on the villains make this the best issue of the title so far. Jeff Parker refuses to be limited by the restrictions of the Adventures line and is putting entertainment first, to deliver Avengers stories that do a better job of exploring the concept than the main title has in a frustratingly long time. It might be nice to see what Parker and company do if freed of those restrictions (hint, hint, Marvel), but for now, I'm quite enjoying the refreshing taste of "Diet Avengers." Read Full Review
