When he's not the mean, green Hulk, Bruce Banner is a brilliant scientist. But when he tries to rescue a doomed space craft, Banner's actions seem to turn a quartet of astronauts into the super-bizarre U-Foes! Shannon Gallant and John Stanisci are no Manuel Garcia and Scott Koblish, but they provide decent artwork, which professionally relates the visual component of the story. They offer a good handling of the characters, and they make the timing for Giant Girl's entrance perfect for the gag. Read Full Review
I'm starting to doubt this is in the same universe as Marvel Adventures Spider-Man. How could he be a full-time Avenger here at all? But that's not the point. The story is fine, more like a Hulk's solo issue. Almost. And the comic is almost as good as I remembered it. I've read it back in 2007 almost when the comic was released originally and I was 6, almost 7, so... Now it reads kinda differently, you see some flaws here and how the story is forced to be what it is. But it's still an interesting light-weight comic with many fine moments. Plus I like U-Foes and it's a nice adaptation of their story. It's not like it was changed drastically, but still... This is "modern", at least.
