  The goal of adapting a classic novel into a comic series should be to introduce contemporary readers to important literary works. Last of the Mohicans achieves this goal beautifully. I eagerly anticipate the remaining installments. This series has the potential to motivate todays readers to go beyond the comics and discover the excitement of the novel itself. If you have not already invested in this series, I highly recommend you do. Buy the back issues and catch up, then enjoy the remaining three. When you are finished, read the novel.
