This is it true believers, the cross-over of the century begins here! The Marvel Zombies come face-to-face with Dynamite Entertainment's Ash from the Army of Darkness! Ash has faced legions of the undead before, but never like this...as he lands in the heart of New York just as the Zombie outbreak begins! See how his actions help turn more heroes and villains into Zombies! Under the watchful eye of Marvel Zombie guru Robert Kirkman, this might just be the comic event of 2007! Plus: The entire series will feature classic "homage" covers from painter Arthur Suydam!

And before I forget, we also get a sweet cover homaging Uncanny X-Men #141, the first issue of the "Days of Future Past" storyline, done up in painted glory by zombie master Arthur Suydam. Honestly, that alone is worth picking up the book for, but you can't go wrong with the interior story either. Read Full Review

Well, it is a good crossover. However, this issue kinda retcons the conclusion of the Army of Darkness #13. But it is still a good addition to the Marvel Zombies series. We see here not only the very-very beginning, but also the world before that disease. I love this artist less, than Sean Phillips, but his zombies are still horrific and that's what I really need. Maybe they are even more horrific. Script is alright too, but what I don't understand - in Marvel Zombies: Dead Days Magneto told, that he caused that mess. Maybe I didn't quite understand him.
