  (Cover Date: May, 1988) Summary: SS & Nova are attacked by pirate ships near the Coalsack. Earlier, they had met with the Kree Chief Coordinator, Nenora, to find out where the Contemplator had gone. They make their way through the Coalsack to find the pirate base. They disguise themselves as pirates before looking for the Contemplator. Meanwhile, a SS duplicate attacks a Kree installation on Kree-Lar & flies away. SS & Nova are exposed after they get into a fight with the pirates at a dance.
