    Despite its similarity to the novel, I think The Stand: Captain Trips hits that sweet spot in offering something for both fans of the novel and newcomers. It comes at the right time, too, as my interest in the current Dark Tower comic is starting to wane. I'm just happy to know I have options when it comes to my Stephen King comics. Read Full Review

    In the end, "The Stand: Captain Trips", is effective on just about every level. People who have read the book have lauded the series for its faithfulness, while new readers (such as myself) can enjoy the book from a fresh, virgin outlook. The relationship between Stephen King and Marvel has already resulted in two gems, so I say keep them coming. The new author-centered franchise is an unarguable bestowal to the comic book medium, and I for one want more. Read Full Review
