(Cover Date: January, 1969) Summary: The Rigelian colonizer, Tana Nile, takes Thor away in her spaceship after asking for his help against the threat of Galactus. After meeting with Odin, the Recorder leaves for Rigel. Thor thwarts a Taurian who attempts to hijack their spaceship. Galactus finds Ego, the Living Planet. Thor & the Recorder leave Rigel to find Galactus. The Wanderers, victims of Galactus, follow Thor's ship seeking a place of sanctuary. Thor's ship is accidentally destroyed by Ego's eye blasts, as Ego tries to defend itself against Galactus' predation.
