(Cover Date: June, 1969) Summary: After the military honors them, Thor, Balder & Sif enter the Atomic Research Center to find the unknown being that Pluto feared. Him (Adam Warlock) sheds his cocoon & meets them. He tells them how he was caught in a meteor trap in space & that he reformed his cocoon to protect himself. Unknown to Him, the trap belonged to the Watcher, who placed him in a satellite headed back to Earth. Him decides that he wants Sif as a mate & flees with her by creating a spatial vortex. Thor creates a similar vortex with his hammer to follow them to some alien world. Him fends off Thor's attack with his powers.
