(Cover Date: October, 1969) Summary: Galactus tells Thor of how the Creeping Plague had overrun his homeworld of Taa & for which no cure could be found. The last survivors gathered in a rocketship to fly into the largest sun. Bathed by radiation, one survived. The survivor is taken to be studied by the Watcher. The Watcher sees the being's cosmic power manifest itself, but declines to interfere. The being creates an attire to regulate his energy & his cubeship in which to mature. After hearing Galactus' story, Odin sends Thor to Earth, where he is needed. Back in the city, the Warriors Three are struck down by the Red Chinese built android, Thermal Man.
