It really does strike one that the art is what may have doomed this series from the start, but in terms of tone/art quality this probably where the series should have begun and then grew from there. In Aruajos defense there is a surprise character introduced at the end of this issue who he captures very well, none other than Spider-Ham! Overall its just a middle issue of a series that will never get to blossom. Fialkovs last issue is next month as he will not be doing the final issue, but all in all this arc has been a nice read probably more appreciated by old UFF fans. Thoughts and opinions on this series or its departure would be appreciated below. Read Full Review
It's weird and at times silly, but this issue of ULTIMATE FF is fun, if nothing else. There's a new artist on board and while the art did get better, it's still the weakest part of the book. What readers do have to look forward to is Josh Fialkov having a field day with the Ultimate universe and as many puns as possible in the next couple of issues before the series ends. The last page is what really sells the finale of this book. Read Full Review
Reasons why this is bad:
1) Doom couldn't kill zombie Pym, because he died in Marvel Zombie Return #5 and he had his head on his shoulders.
2) If Doom really did fight zombies of the zombieverse, it would be in one of the MZ volumes. I read them all and some of them even many times, so this fight couldn't really be in the continuity.
3) My God, how bad this art is! It's really just awful.
4) The story is slow and boring. And they keep teasing us about the false Doom killed by Ben.
5) The conclusion... Oh well... It's just no comments.
