So how do I judge a book like X-Men: The End. It didn't hurt my head. The art did not impel me to claw out my eyes. Given that I didn't quite have an inkling as to what was going on apart from the reduced level of bad guys attack good guys, I still felt entertained and that I hadn't wasted my money or time. I knew a lot of the characters. They sounded like themselves or at least a reasonable growth of the characters that I remember them being. There were several fun bits.
