THE UNITED STATES OF MURDER INC. has fast become one of my favorite ongoing titles. The team up of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming is one we're familiar with and their take on the world of mobsters is full of action, intrigue, and suspense. Bendis keeps the action going while also fleshing out the backstory of this world while Oeming's art captures it all perfectly. The move to Vegas proves a welcome one, particularly when rendered by Michael Avon Oeming. The artist turns in some excellent pages, everything from the action sequences to the rich locales well constructed and appealing.
