A traveling carnival comes to Kriss's humble village, bringing much-needed entertainment. Among the caravan, Kriss finds people like himself -- outsiders who have turned their stranger attributes into marketable strengths. Torn between joining the merry caravan and his growing feelings for Anja, Kriss struggles to figure out where his destiny lies.
