One year ago, a fragment of an interdimensional civilization crashed into Downtown Los Angeles, creating a quarantined zone known as “The Gleam,” where the laws of physics no longer function normally. Believing the area too dangerous for humans, morally questionable government contractors sent in four research animals to retrieve alien technology. Instead, they created something far more unpredictable. The mission resulted in four radically transformed dogs with enhanced intelligence, new abilities, and a purpose of their own.
