Unikorn #1 isn't going to push any envelopes or shock anyone, but it also isn't trying to. It's a straightforward beginning to a story and feels like a good fit for younger readers. Read Full Review
The premise of the book seems intriguing, although the comic seems to lean heavily on standard YA tropes such as the grieving father, the bullied horse girl, and the family learning to move forward. It's certainly worth a preview at least before deciding on whether to pick up the full graphic novel. Read Full Review
