The Graphic Library - Sara Campbell
Jun 14, 2021Chise has spent most of this series in the fae world that it was interesting to see her and Alice in the human world. Chise has hardly any ties to the human world because she grew up in Japan, but this glimpse into Alice's past was really needed as a reminder of where they are and how the fae world is connected to humanity. Before this volume, Alice wasn't a stand-out character in my mind. When Chise meets back up with her, I actually had forgotten who she was, but this volume has made her a full-realized character. Then, we get to Elias spying on Chise. I feel like, from his reaction when she finds out about the spying, that it wasn't just for her protection, and the whole situation smacks of a red flag in an abusive relationship. Read Full Review
