Jul 16, 2023This story is, first and foremost, a slow romance and a story of healing. There might be some magical plot points that could develop further later, especially with the hints about how important Miyo could be to the future of magical people, but the appeal of this story is Miyo being able to heal and being supported by a person who is widely misunderstood. Kudo and Miyo are two broken folks who have possibly found their person. There could be some complications later as Miyo had a childhood sweetheart that was swept up by Kaya, but I think I and other readers would be immensely satisfied to see these two build a relationship where they can both be at peace.
