Comic Book Bin - Herv St-Louis
Feb 09, 2012However, I have to commend the "risk" taken with the Kochalka pieces. They are not groundbreaking, but the fact that Viacom was ok with the design of one of its properties not being respected totally is cool. The other stories follow the animated character bibles established for Spongebob more closely. I always like to see softraced coloured art, and of course, just like the cartoon series, the comic book features much of that. It's a fun comic book. I pretty sure every issue is as safe and entertaining. Read Full Review

Stories in here: "Missing Man", "Gary's Hairball Adventure", "Look Out Below", "Egg Hunt", "Krabby Klub For Kids", "Flotsam & Jetsam: Sea Stars", "Superstar", "Motormouth", "Best Comic Ever!". Actually, that story about Bob helping some underground creatures was a lot of fun. Also I love how Flotsam & Jetsam facts isn't a one time occasion and it looks like there will be more. This is really cool and all Hillenburg-ish. You know, I really enjoy this comic so far. Plots and scripts aren't that complicated, but it's still a good thing to spend an evening reading. However, I would love to see some better written stories in the future. It worked really well for Tom & Jerry comics as I remember and Bob has the potential for such comic stories more
