The pacing is a bit slow on First Defense. We're two issues in, and there's been a lot of introducing and training and talking, but there's been some nice touchpoints for setting up multiple oncoming threats. The artwork is appealing, and the young cast should make this even more attractive to new readers if the publisher can get more traction on retailer shelves. Read Full Review
