Alt-Hero continues to lay the ground work for what is shaping up to be a compelling and interesting universe. There is an obvious political and social slant here, but it isn't heavy-handed and I am thankful for that, even if I happen to agree with it. The heroes, specifically Hammer and Rebel, are two very exciting characters and I can't wait to see more of them and witness how their story arcs play out. I would have liked to see some of the results from the first issue, but this one was entertaining enough in its own right to tide me over until that happens. Read Full Review
