When I was reading this I got a genuine feel of appreciate for history, not just on my end, but I could feel Benton and Frontier appreciate it too. This feeling was only magnified at the end when they mentioned that pre 1800 there were an estimated 60,000,000 bison but in 1900 there were an estimated 300 bison left, from what anyone that took history knew was a mass slaughter. Little things like this give me a feeling of appreciation and understanding from the artist and it makes me like the book just a little more. Read Full Review
