In fact, the sincerityis what was most surprising about C.R.O.T.C.H. in the end.Honestly, I expected a lot more cursing, nudity, and generally offensive jokes. But for the most part this series focuses on story-telling and world building vs. cheapgags. Despite the title,C.R.O.T.C.H.makes a sincere attempt to be a spy/action comic book. It succeeds in that regard and should satisfy anyone who is looking for a fun new story to jump into between their weekly purchases. Do yourself a favor and skip the extra shot of espresso today. Instead spent your 99 cents on C.R.O.T.C.H. and support an indie art teamthat clearly loves the strange world of comics. Read Full Review
