DOGMAN is made for kids, and presented as something kids might have written and drawn themselves. That's a good thing. That makes it not only super-accessible to younger readers, but it also gives them the confidence that they, too, might be able to create comics. (My third-grade son has followed the instructions on how to draw Dogman and Petey, thrown them out the window, and moved on to create his own legal-paper-and-staples book of Funny Cat Stories, but that's a review for a different time.) And it's got just the right amount of gross-out, poopy/farty humor to get right to the heart of what kids find funny. Read Full Review
