  ESTABLISHING SHOT #1 is a novel, amusing, intriguing, and thoughtful experiment that plays with the medium of comics to realize new avenues of storytelling. As with any anthology, results vary (sometimes wildly) from one short to the next, but all the shorts have something to offer.
