The real shame here is that there's a lot to like about Fever. The artwork is really nice, although it's difficult to call it true sequential art. A series of splash panels with dramatic poses doesn't necessarily make for a good comic, even when the artwork in those splash panels is really, really good. Unfortunately, this book comes off as a mish-mash of two good stories that, when combined, make a bad story. It might have worked better if Hee Jung Park had chosen to focus on one or the other.
