Footprints juggles enough unlikely elements to be an enjoyable read, and ends with quite a compelling premise on its hands. Its a B-movie, a crime thriller, an X-Files story arc, and a global conspiracy tale, all combined into one chimeric beast thats tough to explain, and tougher to look away from, even if the conventional elements drag.
