  This is basic horror writing and film making 101, the reason behind the 8 out 10 score is that basic does not mean that it's still not entertaining, we must recognise the difference. Basic done badly is bad, basic done well is damn well entertaining let me tell you that, and here it is basic done really well. Little has changed in the prequel story type to the first films, but the actors are on top of their game and the demon and ghost designs are their usual high grade goodness. There are one or two shock moments that caught me off guard and it was nice to have that shower of popcorn. Just so you know I managed to eat only those pieces that landed on me. Insidious: Chapter 3 managed to be entertaining, funny, and have enough shocks to keep horror fans, and those horror fans like me, who don't mind silly B-Movie style horror movies. Read Full Review
