This book is a wonderfully dynamic take on what would otherwise be a very peaceful idea monks on a quest to purify souls. This action-packed angle makes for a very intriguing plot that leaves you wanting more. Each character is more interesting than the last, and the depth of their interactions is what great stories are all about. I am beyond thrilled that Lewis so kindly graced me with a copy of the first issue. This is probably the highlight of my week, at least comic book-wise. I love anything that makes me think beyond my everyday range of “woah man, that’s deep” thinking—and this is definitely it.
