Manga like Kitaro seldomly leaves Japan, and whenever it gets translated it is most assuredly a labor of love. Not only is this a great read for adults, Mizukis world of yokai is a great bridge title for parents and children alike. Despite dealing with themes of death, possession, and general macabre, each story is presented with the innocence of classic fables. For fans of manga this is a dream come true; for comic fans looking for a starting point into the daunting world of manga, Kitaro is the perfect book for you. Read Full Review
