In order to appreciate where Kurohime is now, and where she's going in future books, it's obviously a good idea to go back to volume one and see where she's been. Volume seven isn't exactly what I'd call a "jumping on point" for the series, particularly since things are really beginning to get complex for Kurohime and company as they tackle gods, angels, and demons in their quest to bring Zero back. I was not impressed with this series when it first came out, but over time it has really grown into a solid read that's well worth checking out. Read Full Review
