MULP is an anthropomorphic comic book, a pulp adventure set in a world of mice. Sceptre of the Sun follows the exploits of Jack Redpath and Vicky Jones as they attempt to unravel a mystery surrounding an ancient stone tablet unearthed during an archaeological excavation in Egypt.
Mulpbrings all the shenanigans of a heist to the page: nutty professors, femme fatales, buried treasure, and brawny bad guys. These elements are all certainly familiar (think Indiana Jones with a sprinkling of NIMH), but in Mulpthey never feel played-out or dull.
